Overview

Volunteering at The Walk for Hunger is a great way to show support for your community! It takes hundreds of people to keep The Walk running smoothly and make the day a success. Volunteers will receive a custom Walk for Hunger Volunteer Shirt, have access to breakfast and snacks throughout the day, and are an essential part of the movement to end hunger.

There are opportunities for both individuals or groups to support the event on Boston Common Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Please review the volunteer requirements carefully before submitting your volunteer registration. If you cannot meet the volunteer requirements, consider joining us as a walker or support the event with a donation.

Volunteer Roles

The Walk needs between 100-200 volunteers to run smoothly!

From greeting walkers, manning the registration and check-in tables, passing out supplies and t-shirts, running the food and water stations, lawn games and activities, and keeping morale high and good vibes flowing in the cheering stations, there is no shortage of roles and responsiblies that make the event a positive and safe experience.
