For school + summer meal providers
The School Breakfast Program, National School Lunch Program and the Summer Food Service Program are federally-reimbursed child nutrition programs. It takes the dedication of countless school nutrition professionals and summer meal providers to make them available to kids and families in Massachusetts. Working tirelessly to ensure all children in Massachusetts have access to nutritious meals year-round is you!
Project Bread is the statewide partner to school and summer meal providers. For more than 20 years, Project Bread's Child Nutrition Team, in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), has been a resource to school and summer meal providers. We work to achieve our shared goals of increasing access and participation in these underutilized and critically important federal nutrition programs.
School and summer meal providers are invited to raise money for their initiatives through The Walk for Hunger! Gardens, backpack programs, Summer Eats equipment, School Meals equipment, on-site pantries, and more!
