Are you looking for creative ways to make the most of your USDA foods in your school meal program? Please join Project Bread's Chef Educators for "Utilizing USDA Foods," an online class outlining effective strategies and concepts for using your USDA foods. This class will include four recipes from our Chef Educators, developed specifically to maximize USDA foods in meals that work both for on-site and grab-and-go meal service. We'll discuss the benefit of using USDA foods to help control costs as well as techniques for effective time management.  We'll review best practices for plating, packaging, and promoting these new recipes with your students and families.

This training is intended for school food service professionals, including school nutrition directors, cafeteria managers, head cooks, prep cooks, and anyone wanting to learn more about introducing more USDA food options into their meal program.
