On May 3, 2026, thousands of walkers gathered on Boston Common for Project Bread’s 58th Walk for Hunger, united in the mission to end hunger in Massachusetts. Families, advocates, local leaders, volunteers, vendors, and partners came together to raise awareness, defend food access programs, and build momentum toward a food-secure future.
Behind every mile walked and every dollar raised were corporate partners who chose to invest in their communities. Local and national businesses, corporate Walk teams, and sponsors helped turn this year’s Walk into a powerful demonstration of what is possible when organizations support their fellow neighbors.
Corporate engagement has always been central to The Walk for Hunger. Sponsorships, Walk teams, community fundraising events, and in-kind support help make the Walk possible while strengthening the statewide movement to end hunger.
Funds raised at The Walk for Hunger support Project Bread’s work connecting families to food assistance, expanding access to school meals, advocating for statewide policy solutions, and operating programs like the FoodSource Hotline.
For organizations, participating in the Walk creates opportunities to engage employees, connect with local communities, and support a mission that affects families in every region of the state. As food insecurity continues to impact nearly 40 percent of households in Massachusetts, partnerships between nonprofits and businesses remain essential to building long-term solutions.
This year’s Walk featured support from an incredible group of sponsors and community partners whose contributions helped create an engaging and meaningful experience for walkers.

The 58th Walk for Hunger would not have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our corporate partners. This year, businesses from a range of industries joined forces with Project Bread, demonstrating a shared commitment to ending food insecurity across Massachusetts. From contributing vital funds and resources to forming enthusiastic employee Walk teams, these organizations stepped up in meaningful ways.
New partners, such as HFA, an architecture firm, joined the Walk for the first time, bringing fresh energy and ideas to the event. Returning sponsors continued to show steadfast support, helping to fuel both the spirit and the impact of the Walk. Their involvement went beyond financial contributions—many offered in-kind donations and helped spread awareness through their networks.
These efforts provided essential support for Project Bread’s mission and also inspired others in the business community to get involved. Corporate partnerships are a driving force behind the Walk’s success, empowering more people to participate and amplifying the reach of hunger relief efforts statewide.
