Let's Make Our Voices Impossible to Ignore

RSVP to Rally for SNAP on the State House steps with Make Hunger History and anti-hunger advocates on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 12pm-1pm.

Massachusetts families are at risk of going hungry come November if SNAP isn’t funded — and we need you to stand with us at the State House!

Because of the ongoing federal shutdown, SNAP and other nutrition programs are in jeopardy. If action isn’t taken now, more than 1 million of our neighbors could lose access to food starting November 1st.

Stand with us to show our leaders that Massachusetts won’t let families go hungry!

  • Please arrive at noon for the speaking program to begin at 12:15.

  • We will rally and hold a press availability on the State House steps (Beacon Street in Boston), and urge government to act quickly to ensure families get November SNAP on time.

  • If the federal government fails to do this quickly, then Massachusetts must step up and tap the estimated $8 billion Rainy Day Fund or other state resources to fund SNAP in November.
