Warm weather and sunshine are on the rise and that can only mean one thing, Summer Eats is fast approaching!

Join Project Bread Chefs, Sam Icklan and Vanessa LaBranche, as they cover some new, fun and easy recipes to keep the kids coming back for more.

From wraps to dips, this class will focus on fresh, packable meal options to suit your Summer Eats needs and include a presentation from our Child Nutrition Outreach Team (CNOP) about best practices for promoting your Summer Eats menus.

This class is intended for free meals for kids providers through the Summer Eats program.

This 90-minute training fulfills the following Professional Standards Learning Objectives:

  • 2130 (develop culinary skills necessary for school meal preparation, 60 min.)
  • 4120 (promote the child nutrition program, 30 min.)
